My site is really coming along. At this point I’m just adding a little bit more description to each image I have uploaded. I completely changed my header, which I think helps in carrying the visual aspect I desired for the site as a whole throughout. All in all, I’m pretty happy with everything I’ve done and think my site is aesthetically pleasing as well as informative. I will be interested to see what you all think of it and whether you agree with me… Here’s the link to my site again.
Your site looks excellent! The navigation is easy to comprehend and follow as well.
The only question I had while browsing through the site was on the “Timeline” page. Would it be useful for students and teachers to have an “About” section for the timeline that would explain the source for the different styles? Whenever we label things as historians I think it is generally a good idea to give viewers an understanding of whether these are your own definitions or come from some sort of history of architecture standards.
Then again, the teachers and students the site is designed for may already have been exposed to those things. Just a thought!
Overall, definitely like the style and usability of the site.
Yes, I would agree that your site is visually appealing. Looks great with the white text on black background (creating a simple yet elegant feel about your site). Also, like what you did with the Timeline; much easier to read.
I only have one question: I notice some text “hiding” underneath the “Browse Items link” at the top- what is that? You can see it on every page.
Overall, great job!
Yeah, I just noticed that. You must have been viewing the site in Internet Explorer. I don’t know what it doing that because it looks perfect in Firefox…. I hate internet explorer…..
By the way, thank for your comments!!!
